Theatre Odyssey is calling for student play submissions for the Fourth Annual Student Ten-Minute Playwriting Festival.
Original ten-minute play submissions can now be made by students who wish to enter the 2016 festival. The festival will be held January 15 and 16, 2016 at the Howard Studio Theatre at the State College of Florida.
The winner will receive a $500 cash scholarship and a trophy to be displayed at their school. The runner-up will receive a $300 cash scholarship. The deadline for submissions is October 31, 2015.
Last year the winner, “As Long as the Moon Shines” by Julien Freij from St. Stephen’s Episcopal school was also presented at Theatre Odyssey’s Tenth Annual Ten-Minute Play Festival in May, 2015.
