Theatre Odyssey is proud to announce the WINNER of our First Annual STUDENT Ten Minute Play Writing Festival!
The cleverly written comedy “Therapy” by Sabrina Viota and Summer Begalka from Saint Stephens Episcopal School was named the winner of Theatre Odyssey’s first annual Student Play Writing Festival last night held at SCF’s David S. and Anne V. Howard Studio Theatre. The winners were awarded $300.00 (donated by Immediate Past President Terry Romine and his wife Susan) and a trophy to be displayed at Saint Stephens High School. The evening was a success with the performance of the four finalists’ plays, a play writing workshop led by Theatre Odyssey Founder and Vice President, Tom Aposporos with the participation of our board members, Marv Albert, Ron Pantello and Bernie Yanelli, and the Artistic Direction of Preston Boyd. Theatre Odyssey would like to thank the adjudicators, Kenneth Erickson, Jay Handelman, Howard Millman and Tami Vaughan for their participation in our first annual Student Play Writing event.
